Noah's Ark:
Publications
Many people send email requesting information about this or that movie or book about
Noah's Ark. Well, on this page, I plan to add any and all publications that I can find as
a resource for you.
I have tried to be very careful with copyrights and have listed credits for images
other than my own. They are listed in the Credits and Thanks
page. If my name or signature is not on them, they are not mine for release.
If my name or signature is on them, please let me know which ones you are interested in
and you may use them unaltered. Do not modify the image and state the appropriate credit
when used.
If you wish to publish the images or wish exclusive rights, please email me with
specific details and we will proceed from there.
Finally, as more people use this page, I have found that "older" browsers do
not understand the Java Script that controls the images. I am sorry for this, but suggest,
if possible, get MSIE 4.0 or Netscape 4.0 for best results.

Here are a few snapshots from our trip to the Palisades Glacier in the marvelous
Sierra-Nevada mountains in California. We were about 15 miles from Mt. Whitney, the
highest point in the continental United States.
The trip was phenomenal. Not only were Glenn and Edith our guides and mentors in these
beautiful mountains, but they were also our cooks. Each morning and evening you could hear
the roar (and I mean "roar") or the cooking stove. Meals of Chicken Cordon Blue,
Beef Stroganoff, Cheese Tortellini and Chicken Ramen Surprise were outstanding. (No wonder
my backpack was so heavy!) Bridge up baby. We had more food that we could eat. Passers-by
were treated to our leftovers and smiled as they walked away. And some vermin ate our
extra brownies. Shucks.
We were awakened to the aroma of Starbucks coffee at 12,000 feet. Wow! Glenn and Edith
take a bow. We need you at the top of Mount Ararat! Yes! We would start our meals with a
prayer of thanks and protection.
And we were protected. Each night at our second camp, a serious rock avalanche could be
heard. And the last night a four foot boulder raced down the hill beside us. It smashed
another rock at the bottom and sent debris flying. We saw the chipped rock in the morning.
All of us were protected and returned to our homes safely. Thank God for our answered
prayer.
And thanks to BJ for loaning me his gear. It worked well, especially when I was hanging
under the runoff from the glacier. Wet on the outside, dry on the inside. Thanks again BJ.
